Subject: Studies on toxic elements in straw
To: Global Straw Building Network <gsbN at sustainablesources.com>
Hi all,
I have had a request by a client for more information on the posible
problems with the chemicals used in producing straw. This is for someone
with extreme sensitivity.
I understand that with a good layer of clay or lime plaster on top, the
chemicals used in the cereal production do not affect indoor air quality,
but I don’t know of any studies which prove this. Does anyone know if this
area has been investigated?
Thanks, Rikki
