Hello everyone,

 

If you haven't yet seen PAKSBAB's November e-Newsletter, it is now available
on our website home page at www.paksbab.org - click on the e-Newsletter
button.  Please share it with others  who may be interested in our work.  It
has information regarding our recent straw bale projects in Pakistan and
introduces you to some of the beneficiaries of our Community Development
Program.  

 

PAKSBAB is working hard to secure a straw bale project for flood
reconstruction.  Two million homes were either damaged or destroyed in the
flood and there are positive indications that the National Disaster
Management Authority will approve traditional and earthen construction
methods for rebuilding.

 

Meanwhile the team is about to begin work on a 1024 s.f. straw bale house
for a contract client in district Jhelum.  It will be an ideal location for
a showcase straw bale house as the Punjab province is the "bread basket" of
Pakistan.
