Hi David,

Chris's recent book has extensive listings of materials, comparing 
embodied energy, cradle to grave. It's about as good as it gets, really.
He's Canadian, Eh?
We've got so many cold days here, each November to March, to test our 
building envelope. And something good comes from all of that, some of 
which spills out from within his book, in addition to all that compiled 
data around life cycles of materials..
