[GSBN] Recording Studio in Straw

Hi Rikki and all,

Gernot Minke designed and build a music studio/strawbale dome in Germany in
2004. See his website via http://www.gernotminke.de/minke.html you can get
the page in English and Spanish too. There are picture in his photo-gallery.
We had the opportunity to help with the build visiting Germany at the time
and went back for a visit to see the finished project during our Europe
travels last year. We have some info & photos of the build on our website in
the projects section and will send new photos from 2010 to you offline as we
haven’t had a chance to put them on our site as yet.

We have also build two more music/recording studios here in Australia, one
in Uki as a wing of a house – also on our website, and one down the south
coast of NSW near Narooma, will try and get you in touch with the owners if
you are interested.

Not straw, but Frank Meyers (on this list) did an earthen block job for the
rock band Spoon's studio here in Austin.  See a couple images at
