[GSBN] your comments on gsbn for mark

I am appreciative of Mark's calm, reasoned response to the statements
by James. When I read eight negatively-loaded words/phrases in
James' one short paragraph, I'm hesitant to say more.

I'm curious as to how this discussion is developing. Someone
forwarded something from this so-called private list, to James, or
someone else who eventually got some comments to James. James
responded in some way (not directly to Mark), which got to the list
manager, who forwarded the message to Mark. Seemingly with an email
address that didn't make it into the discussion so far. Not long
after receiving Mark's response, I got another GSBN posting from
<ejgeorge at riseup.net>. So far as I can tell, this is a reposting of
Mark's message, with a different first line and the lack of some of
Mark's formatting.

This list is not secret, but I would like to have an idea of who is
involved in a discussion. And as James' response indicates, it is
easy to generate bad feelings, or start a flame war, by pulling
comments out of the discussion context, and forwarding them to people
who don't have experience with nor connection to this list community.
I'd like to know who is involved in this discussion, beyond the list
members, and how the communication conduit with them is being
managed.
