[GSBN] Resale value of straw-bale homes and other natural buildings

You may have already seen this email on other lists...want to be sure it's
shared with everyone on this list, too. This seems to be an important next
step in gathering and sharing information about straw-bale buildings and
their marketability.

The Last Straw journal will be publishing an issue about putting a project
together. One of the articles will be on the resale value of straw-bale
homes and other natural buildings. I'm trying to find information from
owners, realtors, appraisers, and buyers, too, about the resale value of
homes in their area. Also would like to include information about individual
experiences - good and bad - about the process of marketing and selling a
straw-bale home.

If you'd like to share other information about the experiences you've had in
putting a project together - codes, insurance, design, construction,
materials, heating, cooling, moisture, or any other part of the building or
the process - please get in touch with TLS. And let others know, too - your
builder, insurer, lender, codes official, realtor and others. We'd like to
hear from them, too.
