Dear colleagues,
We have a project coming up where we have a leading Danish architect
company on board.
We are looking into using a clay based subfloor / slab / screed instead of
cement based options.
We have done this for years now with owner-builders, but never had numbers
to back it up with. The architect company wants numbers.
Can anyone help with stiffness modulus / E moduli, eg measured with a plate
load test or a lightweight deflectometer ?
I have attached the Particle size analysis.
Normally in the natural building scene we use this product to make sub
floors. In the old days it was used to make barn-floors.
Nowadays the quarry sells the product to be used as roadbase / macadam
(without asphalt).
Best, Lars
