[GSBN] Home insurance in Colorado

Hey Paul and others,

Since this may be of general interest, I've chosen to answer Paul this way.


I recently did some shopping around for insurance for a strawbale project
here in Tucson.  So far, only Farm Bureau has said they would insure it.
They said they treat it as if it was wood frame.  Since both straw and wood
have very similar chemical compositions, that makes a curious kind of sense.

Looking forward to seeing some of you at the upcoming colloquium at Black
Range Lodge in October!
