[GSBN] Interview with Matts and Judy

Dear All in this heartfelt and caring community,

I, too, am one of the so, so many who was deeply touched by Judy and am very saddened to know of her passing. As a heart-centered instigator of so much of what is good in this straw bale movement, along with the same in Matts, they are both are owed such gratitude. Her words should be shared again and again, and if I can attach a file successfully to this, want to share her talk from 2005 she gave to the Mensa Society, which she shared with me in an email. It is a beautiful collection of "Judy wisdom". Thank you Martin for including the interview as well- I was delighted to have the chance to "interview" them. It's less an interview really than it was an invitation to them to tell their story. I had little to do but capture it on camera. 

I learned of Judy's passing from an email Monday morning from her family. Interestingly, she was strongly on my mind just Saturday night, Christmas Eve. After watching a thought-provoking movie with a friend, the dialogue led me to tell my friend the whole story of meeting Matts and Judy and of Judy's influences on me. I took about a half and hour to tell how we met, how we continued to know each other, and about Judy's strong and insistent messages to me on different times we saw each other. I had not told that story in its entirety for a long time, if ever in such detail. I would not be surprised if there many more stories like this turn up as it was likely out Judy was out and about, continuing to touch lives, send strong and motivating messages, and remind us of her love and vibrancy, passing it around yet again. 

I have planted the seed in a letter to Matts that at the International Conference in Sept, 2012 (http://www.strawbaleconference.com/) that we create the space for a celebration of Judy and an honoring of her. We will continue to keep the community aware of how this may unfold and how each of you might contribute.
