Hi André, some research at the University of Sheffield in the UK has resulted in the following paper;

which looks as a range of agricultural output, often considered as waste..

Has anybody used Rice Hulls as insulation as proposed by Paul Olivier?

It looks like it could be an easier method of wrapping than SB. It might also be a cheap and easy to use material to add insulation to an existing roof (when it can be poured in from above). I have yet to try it... so I would appreciate learning from your experiences before experimenting with it on my home.
