[GSBN] Putting a Project Together

Hello everyone,

I'm starting to gather the contents for an issue of The Last Straw with the
theme Putting a Project Together. I'm looking for information and articles
about the steps in planning, designing, building, and getting approvals,
insurance and financing or any other aspects of developing a project.

Would be great if the issue included articles of similar content from more
than one country (not just the U.S.A.) so we have some comparisons as to
where straw bale project development is currently and can reflect a bit
about progress (I hope).

I plan to do a survey to ask questions of people who have built or had a
building designed and built for them and how they dealt with various aspects
of the process. Would be great if I could do this through the associations,
guilds and groups around the world as they probably have the best contacts
for this. I'll use the International SB Registry, too, of course. Ideas for
questions to ask are most welcome!

I also would like to survey people about the resale of buildings and what
problems or difficulties they found in trying to sell, find a realtor, do
marketing, initial pricing and actual sale price, and just generally how the
process went. Another use for the International SB Registry - and ideas and
information from you and others, too.

Would be great to have a column by a professional or two about their
perspective on project development and the process.

Open to other article ideas, too.

Glad for any help anyone can contribute.
