This was just the point I was trying to make, and apparently failed to
express clearly. If we offer any new way for someone to identify a
specific house on Google maps, then we have compromised that
homeowner's privacy. To avoid that, I was suggesting that we DON'T
provide ANY information linked to individual houses with this new map
idea. Rather, we only identify and map a public building, such as City
Hall, in the nearest city.
Our hypothetical mapping page might be then used to gain detailed
information on various City Halls, down to specific address and a
street level photo, but there would be no link between that map and any
SB house.
