[GSBN] Craig White to Keynote CASBA Conference - May 5-7 in SF Bay Area - Registration Open

Hello again Global Balers:

We invite all of you near and far to join us for CASBA’s 21st Annual Spring Straw Building Conference, returning this year to Walker Creek Ranch in west Marin County, an hour north of San Francisco, California.  Headlining our conference this year is Keynote Speaker architect Craig White of the U.K., presenting on the resilient, scalable use of renewable materials:  Towards a Photosynthetic Architecture - Renewable Buildings for the Circular Carbon Economy

Craig White is the founder of ModCell, a panelized strawbale wall system.  He is a consultant with the Carbon Trust and has worked on the UK’s Low Carbon Buildings Programme.  Craig was a keynote speaker at the 2016 International Straw Building Conference in New Zealand.  He is also a member of the Embodied Carbon Network's Renewable Materials Task Force.  

This year’s conference will features updates on the new strawbale, light straw clay and tiny house codes, sessions on building detailing including airtightness, and much more!
