[GSBN] Under slab and edge insulation at doorways

Hi Kelly and all,

two cents maybe be too much here, as I used Perlite under the strawbales in
a woodden ladder frame on the foundation. The idea had been to minimize
damage of exposing strawbales directly on the moisture barrier of the
foundation with the potential of a failing lime render test. And indeed
after the render failed, Perlite helped drying out the walls and once dry
again, the thermal properties are back to normal.

We sometimes use Perlite mixed in a lime-slab for the floors, which works
fine.

Best wishes,

Martin Oehlmann
