G ' day

As one who has developed a prefab panel system but not gone to market as yet
I have to agree with Chris Magwood and disagree with our mate RT, something
I do not often do.

We can make panels of various depths from 150mm to 450mm. However they all
come in one size 2.4m high x 1.2 m wide. This is the size of the jumbo bale
that we make them from.

We now have a portable "factory" or saw bench system and our next move is
the timber or LVL frame work and some hydraulic compression method. We
still need to invest a large sum of capital before we can go to market. Our
initial market research has provided us with excellent incentive in the
field of contemporary designed houses. We could have saved a lot of time
in the South Coast home we built if we had the panel system in place and in
this particular home time was money!

However we are very busy with workshops for owner builders and love that
side of the business as we get to meet and hopefully help so many owner
builders achieve their dream.

We are currently in SE Queensland conducting workshop #109. I am updating
the web site daily while we are here so for daily our progress see:

Panels will work and take straw bale building into a new dimension and
hopefully into main stream building and if we are to make a difference the
sooner the better. Me I just love what I do and as long as there are owner
builders around that will be my preference in this caper.

Kind regards
