[GSBN] Home made mortar mixer?

I couldn't find it on a quick search, but for awhile, it was all the rage to make one using an old car or truck transaxle. You point the shaft up and weld a mixing blade to it, putting it inside a round watering trough. With a towing hitch welded to it, you then hook it up to your truck, put all the ingredients in it and then pull it around the block a few times. Voila, you've got plaster.

I was thinking along the lines of 55 gallon drum cut in half and the mixer shaft welded to an old wheel rim. Because you could only jack the vehicle up so far height for dumping the mixed load might be an issue.
