Is it possible that he uses the air conditionning at quite low
temperature and that the humidity would be comming from the hot humid
ouside air condensating against the (cold) inner plaster?
I often read that walls 'allways' should be more permeable on the ouside
but have noticed (felt and smelled) that in sometimes felt a sudden rise
in humidity in my sb house comming (I firmy believe) from the rain on my
west façacade driven in by the sun that came out (and heated the outside
surface to a temperature higher than that of the straw core and therefor
inviting a great deal of the moisture (rain sucked into the limeplaster)
into the bale wall.
