Dear Colleagues,

I'd like to nominate Santa Fe, NM, architect Alfred von Bachmayr for membership.  

Alfred is a founding member of the Strawbale Construction Association (of NM) and Builders Without Borders (in 1999), and founder of World Hands Project. Also, he has done strawbale and natural building development work with native American tribes, in Mexico, Central America and Fiji.  Alfred is a very hands-on architect, and among many innovations, he invented  a low-tech approach to mixing straw-clay, and developed a process to cut up shipping pallets and reassemble them into roof trusses.  And much more....
